Product damage and lost

Customer will be responsible if any damage and lost happen due to customer.

Referral fees

Sellers pay 20% referral fee +  18% GST on each item sold.

For all products, 20% percentage of the total sales price that is paid by the buyer (including the item price, any shipping or gift-wrap charges charged by the seller) is deducted as a referral fee.

Note: All claims for incorrect referral fee must be notified to Rentalkart.in in writing within thirty calendar days of the order being shipped. If no such claim is filed within the prescribed timeline, the referral fee charged will be deemed correct and accepted by the sellers. No claim filed after the expiry of this timeline will be entertained and Rentalkart.in will not be liable for any claims brought / damages suffered by the sellers.

Closing fees

You pay a fixed closing fee based on the item price that is paid by the buyer (including any shipping or gift-wrap charges charged by the seller). The fixed closing fee to be paid is calculated below:

Cancellation charge

You will be charged 100% of referral fee (if cancelled on or before ESD) / 150% of referral fee (if cancelled after ESD) of the value of items in an order as a Cancellation Charge for seller-fulfilled orders that are cancelled under the following scenarios:

1. Order is cancelled by seller for any reason other than buyer request. (Only cancellations requested by buyers through the Rentalkart.in website are considered buyer-requested cancellations and will be exempt from the Cancellation Charge.)
2. Order is cancelled automatically by Rentalkart.in because the seller has not shipped and confirmed shipping of the order within 24 hours of Estimated Ship Date.

Note: All fees are exclusive of 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST). To ensure that you are charged the correct referral fee, you will need to categorize your items as precisely as possible when you list them on the website. Categorisation of products is subject to Rentalkart.in sole discretion.

Rentalkart.in Replacement Policy

Eligible items, conditions and exceptions

Which items are eligible for a Free Replacement?

Fulfilled by Rentalkart.in items, Prime eligible items and few Seller Fulfilled items are eligible for free replacements. If an eligible item is out of stock from the same seller, it cannot be replaced. Only a refund against the returned item will be issued.

What are the conditions for Free Replacement?

Items within return window and in stock (exact same item) with same seller are eligible for free replacement. The free replacement order will be shipped through standard shipping once the original order is returned. Free replacements can be requested if the following conditions apply:

• Item received is physically damaged;
• Item received has missing parts or accessories;
• Item received is different from their description on the product detail page on Rentalkart.in
• Item received is defective/does not work properly.

Note:

• A free replacement cannot be created for an item which was returned and replaced once earlier.
• If your item is not eligible for free replacement due to any reason, you can always return it for a refund.
• If your item is “Seller-Fulfilled” and is not eligible for a free replacement, please Contact Seller to request a refund.
• If the item has missing parts or accessories, you may try to contact the manufacturer for assistance. Manufacturer contact information can usually be found on the item packaging or in the paperwork included with the item.
